Birthday Cakes

Here are some cakes I made a couple of months ago.

This cake was for Beate, one of his kindergarten nurses. She helped Leon to acclimatize to the new kindergarten life last summer. I remember how awful Leon cried whenever I left the kindergarten in the morning. But after 2 months he has begun to love the kindergarten.


This cake was for his girlfriend Johanna. She and her mother love Hello Kitty stuff, so I made this cake.

Easter!

I love tulips in spring. They make me feel happy. The hard cold winter has gone finally. Today it's about 19°C!

15 minutes Christmas

This year I wanted to prepare some Christmas gifts for Leons kindergarten teacher, for my friends and postman...and I found that great and cute idea on a christmas market:
15 Minutes Christmas!

The content of this bag:
A short story, tea, gingerbread (cake), chocolate, Christmas stollen, aromatic candle, tealight holder. You also need decorations like a wooden clothespin, a Christmas bulp and a felt Christmas tree.

It was the first time we celebrated Halloween! In Germany it's more an event for kids. As I have a kid now I thought it would be nice if we had Halloween, too.

Summer in the city

The weather has turned to autumn weather: wet and cold. So I like to show you what a nice summer Leon had some weeks before.

He is taken a bath on our balcony. He loves to splash around!

He always grins this way when I say:"Smile, Leon!"

I can't believe it. I'm so happy my orchid is blooming again!


Leon and his Grandpa are helping me to plant flowers on my balcony.

Since I grew lavender on my balcony I don't have gnats in my flat anymore. Hubby hates mosquitoes...and my brother, too! Maybe it's a specific men problem in my family???
